Acknowledgement of Country
I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I live and create.
I pay my respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
I recognise their enduring connection to land, waters, skies, and stories, and the strength of the world’s oldest living cultures.
As a writer and storyteller, I honour the rich traditions of storytelling that have existed on this land for countless generations.
May we all walk gently, listen deeply, and contribute to a future of truth, respect, and reconciliation.
